Nice little antenna that simply screws into your 3/8 thread stud mount. In my case it is on the roof rack of my van.
Thunderpole cut it before shipping and the SWR is perfect across the 446 band. It seems well made and should last for years.
I also find it useful for mobile Scanning, it picks up most UHF and some VHF signals whilst driving around.
I would highly recommend if you don’t want a magmount and something that is permanently fixed into place.
