Due to the unreliability of VOX operated systems at speeds above 30 mph, a more efficient method is recommended.
The MH-500 uses a PTT switch which allows users to have total control over all transmissions, stopping any unwanted interference coming over the airwaves.
Most PTT systems can be awkward and clumsy, but the MH-500 has a neat, compact PTT switch that fits easily onto your handlebar. It also comes with an ear piece and a boom microphone that are attached to the inside of your helmet with Velcro (see Fig.1).
